My name is Natalie McGee, I was born with Transposition (d-TGA) and had the Mustard Procedure in 1976. I was diagnosed with SSS as well as had documented runs of V-Tach so I had a Medtronic ICD implanted 1 month ago. Yesterday I had a pacemaker check and somehow the whole device flipped over pulling the ventricular lead out of place and putting the atrial lead in a bind. I talked to a senior support specialist at Medtronic for 45 minutes today, apparently the device comes with a hole in it for the sole purpose of being sutured in place. I now have to undergo another surgery to fix this error, does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations?
